A Place for Creativity & Creative People In CNY
Hello everyone. I am just now recouping from a busy several weeks of art shows. The art in the park show last Saturday was wet! However, even though there were few people who ventured out, I did very well. I am seeing sales in my high end jewelry this year and I am very pleased about that.
I started a new adventure in ceramics at OCC. I am in my second class this summer and have fallen in love with playing in the mud. This week is the last week to finish pieces and I was there all day…Continue

On Friday, June 17 I had the pleasure of participating in the Everson Museum's third annual 60/60 event. All art created during the even was donated to a raffle to benefit the museum. The effort to mobilize and perform in public was well worth it! I thoroughly enjoy interacting with our patrons. I hope to be back again next year!
I was inspired by the devastating tsunami in March that destroyed much of Japan's eastern coast. Though my sympathy goes out to all of Japan for…Continue

How could I forget to tell you all of my recent achievement! I tied for third place best in show over 80 plus other fine artists and craftsman last weekend! It was a thrill for me as the show was jurried and the level of talent was amazing. There were metal workers, ceramists, wood workers, both carving and turning, oil paintings, fiber, watercolors, and more. I was especially taken with the man who I tied third place with. He hand carved wood, which he then transferred to paper for prints.…Continue

I stopped out to Shopping Town this evening and was very impressed with the progress the store has had in just 5 short weeks . It looks fantastic,
thanks to everyone's participation and of course Peter's dedication
to the project. It's a pleasure to be associated with such a talented group of people.

In both 2009 and 2010, we hosted a traveling exhibit of the…Continue
